National IT Awareness Seminar Opens in CambodiaA seminar on National Information Technology (IT) Awareness opened Tuesday morning, indicating that the Cambodian government wants to make good use of IT to promote the national economic growth.
Many senior government officials, including Prime Minister Hun Sen, senior ministers and provincial governors, as well as international business interests and representatives of U.N. institutions attended the seminar which was organized by the National Authority for Information Technology in partnership with UNDP and UNESCO.
Guest speakers from around the world, such as from USA, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and India, attended the 3-day workshop from September 11 to 13, and will give their recommendations on IT awareness in the country.
