Mongolian Parliament Leader Meets with Chinese Official Delegation

Chairman of the Mongolian State Great Hural (parliament) Lhamsurengyn Enebish met with a Chinese NPC delegation Friday in Ulan Bator.

The delegation of the General Office of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress headed by Peng Yibing wound up its six-day visit and left for home Friday afternoon.

Enebish said the recent visit by the Mongolian State Great Hural to Beijing and the visit of the Chinese NPC delegation testified to the close relationship of the parliaments of the two countries.

He expressed thanks for Chinese assistance when Mongolia was suffering natural disasters and held out hope that the two parliaments and governments would support each other and enhance cooperation on international issues.

During the visit, the Chinese delegation had toured Darhan, Mongolia's second biggest city, and Central Aymak, where they visited some industrial firms and some households of herdsmen.
