Three Cities to Hold Int'l Education Exhibition

The 2001 China International Higher Education Exhibition will be held from September 15 to 23 in Tianjin, Haikou and Kunming.

As the fourth international education exhibition hosted by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, it has attracted over 100 colleges and education organizations from the United States, Australia, Canada and Japan.

Since the first international education exhibition was held in 1999, the event has covered 11 Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing and Chengdu.

The organizer pointed out that the exhibition will help to promote education exchanges, and establish a cooperation relationship between Chinese and foreign education organizations.

The Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange recently has signed a contract with the Netherlands Higher Education International Exchange Association. The two sides agreed to set up an office for education cooperation projects. The office has regular communication with over 30 colleges and universities in the Netherlands.
