Jiang Zemin Leaves Pyongyang for Home

General-Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese President Jiang Zemin left Pyongyang Wednesday afternoon, ending his three-day official visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Jiang's entourage also left here.

He was seen off at the airport by kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee and chairman of the National Defense Commission, and Kim Yong Nam, president of the presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly.

Jiang arrived here Monday at the invitation of Kim Jong Il.

During his stay here, Jiang held talks with Kim, and met with Kim Yong Nam and DPRK Premier Hong Song Nam.

He met with Chinese Embassy staff members and Chinese students here Wednesday morning, and visited an ostrich feed farm near Pyongyang later.
