Another Falun Gong Practitioner Commits Suicide
Bewitched by the heresy of Li Hongzhi, leader of the Falun Gong cult, a Falun Gong follower committed suicide by jumping off the top of a five-meter-tall building in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region recently.
The Falun Gong follower was Yan Feng, 31, a former worker at a local processing plant. He was a graduate of technical secondary school.
It is learned that Yan began practicing Falun Gong in 1997, and then he became indifferent towards his parents and other family members, and listless.
After the cult was banned, Yan participated in a class for educating Falun Gong followers and said that he would break with the cult.
However, Yan was still obsessed with Falun Gong. Time and again, he told his relatives that "The sun will explode in three months." And his younger brother also found new "teachings" of Li Hongzhi at their home and burnt them, which made Yan very sad.
This summer, Yan began to display unusual behavior and he became timid, saying "something may happen to my family soon."
On the morning of August 6, Yan visited his relatives and former colleagues, took a bath at home, and then climbed on the top of the five-meter-tall building where he lives, before jumping off, naked.
Yan was immediately rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment, but died early the next day due to serious injuries.
