Taiwan Portals Brood Investment Info on Mainland
Portal sites in Taiwan are planning Web pages offering information about Chinese mainland to Taiwan's business people in the wake of mainland government's announcement to relax restrictions on investments.
An executive with the Chinese-language Internet portal Yam.com said that the portal will soon launch a new site featuring information on living, working and investing in the mainland.
Meanwhile, the Beijing-based Internet portal Sina.com has launched a website -- linkchina.sina.com.tw -- for Taiwan business people interested in investing in the mainland.
The site has information on cross-Strait business and trade, government regulations and statistics, as well as a Q&A section on investment in Chinese mainland and news updates.
