Chinese Student Savaged in Japan

At the end of last month three Chinese girls studying for master degree in Yamaguchi Prefecture of Shikoku, Japan, wrote to a local Chinese paper, calling for media help for a Chinese student who was savagely beaten in a Japanese company. Following is the full text of the letter.

In outlying Yamaguchi Prefecture of Shikoku, a female Chinese student, aged 21, was savagely beaten up by a Japanese male in a company August 9.

The student fled to a roadside in panic and asked for a lift, but was refused. Finally she got help from an old lady in a supermarket and escaped with a taxi to her countrymen's place.

With the girl savaged in the Japanese company there are also two other Chinese girls who had fled in fear from their dormitory.

Two weeks have passed the Japanese company manager still shields his Japanese employee who savagely beat the Chinese girl and even rudely demands an apology from the Chinese students. The three girls are now still stranded in the Yamaguchi Prefecture, unable to return to China.

Therefore we sincerely call for support and help from Chinese newspapers.
