Citigroup Launches New Investment Product for HK Investors
Citigroup Asset Management launched the Smith Barney Select Global portfolio, a unique product for retail investors in Hong Kong Tuesday.
The new product offers Hong Kong investors the opportunity to invest in a portfolio of 30 highly rated stocks which are selected from more than 2,900 stocks listed in the various exchanges around the world across 85 industry groups.
It also provides investors with easy access to the global equity markets of the United States, Europe, Japan and Asia.
Christopher Andrews, director and regional head of retail for Citigroup Asset Management, said, "the Smith Barney Select Global portfolio is targeted at investors who want access to top quality research and stock recommendations."
The Smith Barney Select Global portfolio is exclusively available at Citibank and Salomon Smith Barney and has a limited subscription period through September 27, 2001.
