Overseas-Financed Enterprises Active in Reinvesting
More than a dozen overseas- financed enterprises Tuesday committed to reinvesting some 600 million US dollars in Shaanxi Province, northwest China.
At a reinvesting meeting held here at the on-going China Western Forum, these enterprises reached cooperative agreements with 22 local partners on a group of projects covering infrastructure construction, ecological protection, tourism, and high technology.
The Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Area transferred land usufruct to a Hong Kong company for 180 million U. S. dollars, the largest among all the cooperative agreements.
The Water Transport Company Group from France, ranking among the Fortune 500, signed an agreement with a local water company over a water supply project with a total contracted input of 118 million U.S. dollars.
