Milutinovic Keeps Qatar Media on Wild Goose Chase

China's head coach Bora Milutinovic, dubbed "worker of miracle", becomes even more mysterious as he keeps Qatar media always on a wild goose chase as to the trace of his victorious team.

With the crucial Qatar-China clash in the Asian World Cup Group B qualifiers looming large, local media is desperate to find Milutinovic and his team. But the Serb all the time kept himself and his team to be found nowhere.

China, which landed here on Sunday after beating Oman 2-0 to get their straight second win from as many games, had booked the Al Ahli Stadium for Sunday's training. But when local reporters and photographers swarmed there, only to find an empty ground. The team failed to turn up.

"They have canceled the training," said a worker of the stadium.

Milutinovic's side planned to train at the Al Arabi on Monday's morning and at the Al Ahli in the evening, but the enigmatic Chinese again didn't show up.

Milutinovic, who took all the teams to the second round of the World Cup finals, outwitted the local media and always kept them guessing.

Calls to Milutinovic's room throughout the day were always not answered and hotel staff were reportedly told not to let out " secrets".

On Monday's morning, the Chinese team trained on the close private beach of their hotel and no local media was admitted in. Only Chinese reporters and photographers were allowed to watch their training after a strict security check.

The beach is about 100 meters long and 5 meters wide. Chinese players made some stretch-outs and jogging and had no more space to do something else.

China, which leads group B with six points, is to play with Qatar on Friday in a key match, a game if the host, with four points on hand, wins will change the situation.
