China Issues Silver Coin to Commemorate Mid-Autumn Festival

The People's Bank of China announced Tuesday that it will issue a silver coin on September 5 to commemorate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The silver coin, which is China's legal currency, features the legendary Moon Palace, the name of the People's Republic of China and the title of the year on the front side, and the design of blooming flowers and a full moon and the denomination on the reverse side.

The silver coin is of super high quality and contains one ounce of pure silver. It is round shaped with a diameter of 40 mm and a denomination of 10 yuan. The total issue is 40,000.
