Chinese State Councilor Arrives in Moscow
Chinese State Councilor Wu Yi arrived in Moscow on Monday evening for a visit preparing for the 6th regular meeting of Chinese and Russian premiers.
Wu, also Chinese Chairperson of the Joint Commission for the Regular Meetings of Heads of Government of China and Russia, was invited by Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Russian Chairman of the joint commission Ilya Klebanov for a visit to Russia.
During her stay in Russia from Monday to Friday, Wu will hold talks with Klebanov on bilateral ties and cooperation, attend the 5th meeting of the commission and make preparations for the 6th regular meeting between Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov.
Then, she will accompany Zhu on his official visits to Russia and Kazakhstan, and attend the First Prime Ministers' Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Kazakhstan.
