Shanxi Trains Forensic DoctorsNorth China's Shanxi province has recently established a forensic doctors training center to cater to the increasing needs of the society.The center, attached to Shanxi Medical Sciences University (SMSU), aims to train professional legal medical experts mainly for the province's judicial departments. Since SMSU set up a specialized training program in this regard in the 1980s, it has trained about 500 forensic doctors with master degree. It has also offered medical assistance to the police in more than 3,000 cases. |
