Some 150 experts from at home and abroad gathered in Huangshan, this resort place in east China's Anhui Province Monday for an international seminar on quantum information.

The seminar, sponsored by the China University of Science and Technology (CUST), is the first of its kind ever hosted by China.

During the three-day seminar, the experts are expected to exchange research findings on quantum telecommunication and quantum computer technology, which are at the cutting edge of scientific research worldwide.
