Macao, Poland Offer Free-Visa Treatment Mutually

China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) and the Republic of Poland announced Monday the exemption of visa requirements for the passport holders of the other side.

The agreement was signed here this afternoon by Florinda Chan, secretary for administration and justice of the Macao SAR, and Radoslaw Sikorski, deputy foreign minister of Poland, on behalf of their respective government.

Chan told the press that the measure is expected to promote trade and tourism exchanges between the two places.

Poland is the 30th country that offers free-visa treatment to those who hold the Macao SAR passports.
