Jiang Zemin Arrives in Pyongyang

General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese President Jiang Zemin arrived in Pyongyang at noon Monday, starting a three-day official visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Jiang is invited by Kim Jong Il, general-secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Central Committee and chairman of the National Defense Commission of the DPRK.
