Senior Palestinian Official Killed in Gaza
A senior Palestinian intelligence officer was assassinated in a car explosion in Gaza City Saturday morning, a Palestinian official told Xinhua.
Tayseer Khatab, director of the Office of Palestinian Intelligence Chief Amin al-Hindi in the Gaza Strip, was killed and his entourage injured when the car they were travelling in blew up, the official said, who held Israel responsible for the incident.
More than 700 people, mostly Palestinians, have been killed since the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts erupted a year ago.
