The State Council, China's highest governing body, has recently appointed a group of officials to new posts and removed some others from their previous positions.
Among them, Gao Qiang was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of the State Council, Qiao Zonghuai as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Li Xueju as Vice Minister of Civil Affairs, and Han Changbin as Vice Minister of Agriculture.
Meanwhile, Zhang Deguang was removed from the post as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; Hao Jianxiu as Vice Minister of the State Development Planning Commission; Wang Wanbin as Vice Minister of the State Economic and Trade Commission; Gao Qiang as Vice Minister of Finance; Wan Baorui as Vice Minister of Agriculture; Ji Bingxian as Deputy Director of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television; and Li Shuilin as Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of The Central People's Government in The Macao Special Administrative Region.
