United States to Meet China in Women's Basketball Final
The
United States
will meet China in women's basketball final match after they defeated
Lithuania
70-49 at the 21st World University Games on Thursday.
Chinese women cagers made the finals by defeating
Czech
Republic 95-75.
In the match between the United States and Lithuania, the Americans hoopers dominated throughout the game, starting with a 7- 0 lead and ending the first quarter 18-9. They extended the score margin to 37-25 in the half time with a series of fast attacks.
In the third and fourth quarter, the Americans kept their pace and gave their rivals no chance to catch up.
The final is slated for Friday.
