International Tourist Commodities Fair to be Held

An international tourist commodities fair, the second of its kind, will be held in Wuhu city of east China's Anhui Province in late September.

The commodities fair, jointly sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Anhui Provincial People's Government, will promote business cooperation and exchanges of ideas on the design, production and sales of tourist commodities.

More than 100 Hong Kong enterprises or trading companies will participate in the commodities fair and businessmen from Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan and other countries are also expected to attend.

Wuhu city, as a transportation hub and a commodities distributing center along the Yangtse river, hosted the first international tourist commodities fair last year, which attracted participants from more than 20 countries and regions.
