China Moves into Women's Team Epee Final

China beat Italy and stepped into the women's team epee final Wednesday at the 21st World University Games.

The Chinese team, led by its star fencer Yang Shaoqi, got victory over the Italians 45-31 in a frustrating semi-final bout.

Women's team epee remained China's biggest hope for gold at the universiade. China won bronze in the competition at Sydney Olympics.
