China Pockets Seventh Diving Title
China Pockets Seventh Diving Title
Guo Jingjing and Cai Yuyan captured the women's synchronized 10m platform title Tuesday to make it seven diving gold medals for China at the World University Games.
This is Guo's third crown in her first ever Universiade outing and Cai's first title after she clinched silver in the individual platform event Friday.
The Chinese pair won 315.45 points from their five rounds of dives in the final, followed by
Spain
's Leire Santos and Lola Saez with 280.56 points.
Japan
ese pair Takiri Miyazaki and Emi Otsuki came third with 270.00 points and Ukrainian pair Olena Zhupina and Olga Lyeonova finished fourth with 267.06 points.
