Tibetan Official Meets US Film Maker

Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Tibet Autonomous Region Raidi met with US film maker Carl Cimini and his colleagues Tuesday in Lhasa, capital of the region.

Cimini is leading a filming group from the Andrew Cimini Media company making a film on Tibetan society and culture.

The U.S. group arrived in Lhasa on August 18 and have visited Xigaze, Gyangze and other Tibetan cities and counties. They are expected to leave Tibet Wednesday.
