The US-based Amway Corporation has recently opened its first cosmetics counter at a shopping mall in the Pudong New District of this east China's industrial powerhouse.
"We have opened 58 shops in major Chinese cities to sell our products, and launched E-commerce in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing," said Yan Zhirong, vice president of Amway (China) Co., Ltd..
He described the new counter as "a new attempt to diversify Amway's distribution channel in China".
With over 40 years of history and over 10,000 employees, Amway has direct sales of its products in over 80 countries and regions of the world. It has a 58,000-square-meter production base in Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.
