Disneyland Theme Park Intends to Settle in Beijing for Olympics 2008

The Walt Disney Company intends to set up a Disneyland Theme Park in Beijing to welcome the 2008 Olympic Games, according to Beijing Evening News reports.

If it comes true it will be the third such park in Asia by the Walt Disney Company.

The Hong Kong Disneyland will be completed in 2005 and, if the Beijing Disneyland is built, China would become the only country that claims two Disneyland Theme Parks except for the US.

Besides, China's first Disney Project-Disney website has been opened to introduce Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck to China via the Internet.
