Investigation into Biggest Smuggling Case Put on DisplayThe Minister of Supervision He Yong, Commissioner of the General Administration of Customers Mou Xinsheng, and Secretary of Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC Song Defu presided the opening ceremony. Around 300 people became the first visitors to the exhibition at the so-called Red Mansion, a luxury building where Lai Changxing, kingpin of the smuggling group masterminded his illegal business and entertained corrupt officials with feasts, money and women. The exhibition disclosed in detail the investigation into the case. There is also a three meter high by five meter wide black wall on the third floor, on which is a long list of criminals involved in the case. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister He said the exhibition displays the Chinese government's determination to carry the war against corruption to the full end, and to win the trust of the Chinese people. He stressed the need to use the exhibition as a warning to Party members and government officials for the promotion of a clean party and government.
