Chinese Vice-Premier Meets Former Philippine President
Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing met Monday with former Philippine President Fidel Ramos.
Li said that he appreciated Ramos' efforts in promoting exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
The development of friendly relations between the two countries is in the interest of the two peoples, Li said, noting that both side should make substantial efforts in advancing the long-term stability of the bilateral relations and become "good neighbors, good friends and good partners."
Ramos said that he will continue to promote the neighborly and friendly relations between the Philippines and China.
