Li Lanqing Meets Former Philippine PresidentLi said that he appreciated Ramos' efforts in promoting exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries. The development of friendly relations between the two countries is in the interest of the two peoples, Li said, noting that both side should make substantial efforts in advancing the long-term stability of the bilateral relations and become "good neighbors, good friends and good partners." Ramos said that he will continue to promote the neighborly and friendly relations between the Philippines and China. Ramos is here as guest of the China Association for International Friendly Contacts.
