The 24-year-old Guan, who only finished ninth in the Edmonton World Athletics Championships two weeks ago, easily leaped 6.51 meters on her second attempt.
Brazil
ian Higa Maggi jumped 6.39 meters to finish second in the qualifying round and Lucie Komrskova of
Czech
Republic was third at 6.30 meters.
The women's long jump final will take place on August 28.
