Animal Protection Center Set Up in Hangzhou

An animal protection center has been set up in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province in east China.

Over 100 grey egrets rescued from poachers are currently receiving treatment at the center. They are the first guests of the center.

The center covers nearly 0.7 hectare of grassland and has many trees that ensure a fine environment for the animals. Employees here have rich experiences in caring for animals, said Ma Yong, the manager.

The center has publicized its 24-hour hotline, calling for the public to report to them information about wounded or maltreated animals.
