HK Post Marks 160th Anniversary

Hongkong Post issued a Prestige Stamp Booklet Saturday to mark its 160th anniversary.

The issuing ceremony held at the General Post Office was officiated jointly by Administrative Secretary Donald Tsang Yam- kuen and Postmaster General LUK Ping-chuen.

Luk said at the ceremony that according to the annual public perception survey conducted in March 2001 by an independent consultant, customers of Hong Kong Post are increasingly satisfied with Hongkong Post's services.

There were 97 percent of customers in the Business, General Public and 98 percent in the Philately groups who were "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with Hong Kong Post's services, he said.

Luk said Hong Kong Post would continue to launch a "100 Projects for Better Services" to meet customers' needs.
