China to Host Int'l Packing Conference
The 2001 China International Packing conference will be held from November 8 to 10 in Beijing.
The meeting will bring in representatives of packing businesses from domestic and foreign countries including the United States and Britain.
The conference, with "Packing, Environment, Market" as its theme, aims to strengthen cooperation, exchange information and discuss joint development. A seminar will be held during the conference.
Experts in the industry note that China will provide more opportunities for domestic and overseas capital in the packing industry.
They predict that in the coming decade, the output value of China's packing and printing industry will quadruple the current figure.
The meeting is co-sponsored by the China Packaging Technology Association, China Packaging Corp, and the National Office on Advancing Packaging.
