The presiding judge has been named as Justice Peter Summon, of the Fiji High Court.

Speight, including his younger brother James, and former journalist, Josefa Nata, were charged with treason last year.

They have been kept in the custody of the Fiji Prisons Department at a makeshift island prison of Nukulau, off Suva, since August last year.
