Register Information for Reporters to Cover APEC MeetingsThe 9th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shanghai, China, in late October, and Chinese and overseas media are welcome to cover the event and related activities, an official with the China Secretariat for APEC 2001 said Wednesday.The APEC Leaders' Meeting will be preceded by the 13th Ministerial Meeting, the Informal Senior Officials' Meeting, the APEC Business Advisory Council Meeting and the CEO Summit between October 15 and 21. Media representatives can download and fill in the application form and other related forms from Annex B of the AELM Media Advisory on the homepage of the official APEC 2001 website (http:// www.apec-china.org.cn). The photographs and related documents of the reporters will be needed. Those from the APEC economies should send the above-mentioned documents to the Accreditation Liaison Officer of their own economy, or by express mail to the Accreditation Office, Media Taskforce of the China Secretariat for APEC 2001. For those from non-APEC Economies, they are required to apply through the relevant Chinese Embassies and Consulates overseas, or send the documents by express mail to the Accreditation Office, Media Taskforce of the China Secretariat for APEC 2001.
