Distance education is a teaching method using a computer network and modern multimedia technology to teach remotely in real time. The interactive technology used not only enables students at different locations to receive the lecture ¡ªwhich uses a combination of words, pictures, graphs, sound and animated cartoon messages ¡ªbut also enables the teacher to see the students' reactions and to talk with them directly. In addition, this interactive teaching method enables both students and teachers to participate in class discussions, and even conduct experiments remotely in virtual laboratories. Approximately 70 of the 255 graduates completed their graduation oral examination through online meetings. |
