China to Lift Restrictions on Foreign Investment Proportion

China will lift restrictions on the foreign investment proportion in some industries and sectors in a gradual way, and meanwhile cancel unnecessary non-citizen treatment for foreign funds, according to a high-ranking official from the State Administration of Industry and Commerce.

He said the government drives to build up and improve its regulatory rules by modifying and abolishing existing laws and regulations which are not in line with the WTO conventions.
