Hungary to Bid for 2012 Olympic Games
Hungary
reaffirmed Tuesday that it would bid for the 2012 Olympic Games.
"To bid is not only desirable, but also possible," Prime Minister Viktor Orban told a news conference on Tuesday following a cabinet meeting.
He added that Hungary's candidacy would be backed by the whole nation.
"The Hungarian nation has a programme, to which its every citizen may join with a good conscience...authority and conviction, " Orban said.
