Senior Lawmaker Meets Former Latvian PM

Buhe, Vice-chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, met Monday with former Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Birkavs.

Expressing satisfaction with the good development momentum of the Sino-Latvian relationship since their bilateral relations were normalized in 1994, Buhe said that he highly appreciated Valdis Birkavs' contribution to the development of bilateral relations during his incumbency.

Buhe expressed the hope that the two countries will continue to develop bilateral cooperation and exchange in an all-round manner.
