CPPCC Vice Chairman Meets Japanese Guests
Sun Fuling, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met Monday with a Japanese delegation in Beijing.
The Soka Gakkai Youth delegation is led by Matuyama Mitunobu, secretary-general of the Young Men's Division of the Soka Gakkai.
Sun expressed appreciation for the stance long held by the Soka Gakkai that Japan should always remember the lessons drawn from its aggressive past.
Sun expressed his hope that young people from both countries would strengthen communications and mutual understanding to contribute to the long-term good-neighbourly friendly ties between the two countries.
Soka Gakkai, the largest religious group in Japan, is here at the invitation of the All-China Youth Federation.
