Italian warship San. Giusto, carrying more than 400 officers and men led by Captain Pao Losandlli, arrived in Shanghai Monday for a five-day visit.

Rear Admiral Hou Yuexi, commander of the Shanghai naval base of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and Feng Guoqin, Shanghai's vice-mayor, met with the captain and other major officers.

This is the fourth time San. Giusto visits Shanghai. The Italian naval vessel, with a displacement of 7,665 tons, began to serve the Italian army in 1994.
