Smallest Aiming Strongest in Universiade

Bosnia and Herzegovina sent two table tennis paddlers to compete in the men's singles of the table tennis in Beijing Universiade, but they are taking aim on the first table tennis medal in the history of the University Games.

Zran Milicevic, head coach of the two players, said that although the host China had dominating power in the table tennis events, but they still want to strive for a medal.

"Our players are the best in Sarajevo. They had the honor to be a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina delegation through a series qualifiers domestically among the universities." said Zran.

"I know paddlers in this Universiade are the top ones in the world. But we have the confidence to contest for the top three in the men's singles."

Zran, a famous local coach in the Balkan country, has attended serval table tennis tournaments as a member of the country's delegation. He presented a photo taken with Vladimir Samsonov, former silver medalist of World Cup, and said, "Everything could happen when you imagine it."

Srdan Milicevic, a handshaker and son of Zran, said, "Perhaps I am the first foreign player came to Beijing, I have been here and prepared for 20 days."

"I can not comment on my opponents because I am quite familiar with them, but I will try my best." said Srdan.
