In the men's singles final, third-seeded Taufik Hidayat of
Indonesia
beat Wong Choong Hann of
Malaysia
for the title.
Hidayat defeated the ninth-seeded Malaysian 7-5, 0-7, 7-1, 1-7, 7-4 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
