Biggest Projector Manufacturer Strengthens Co-op with China
InFocus Corporation, the biggest projector manufactory in the world will intensify cooperation with Shanghai General Electronics Global Corporation Ltd (SGEG) to further exploit the Chinese market.
John V. Harker, CEO of InFocus made this announcement here Thursday. He said that the cooperation will be wide-ranging, including technology transformation, experts' consultation and personnel training.
InFocus will increase investment in China to occupy more market shares, he stressed.
The products of InFocus have been widely used in business and educational fields since they made their debut in China in 1998. Last year, InFocus Shanghai branch was established by the joint efforts of InFocus and SGEG.
In recent years, the Chinese projector market developed rapidly, dominating the Asian market. Now, the projectors used for education and business purposes have become especially popular.
Experts estimated that the sales volume of projectors in China by the end of this year will reach 75,000, of which 18 percent will come from InFocus.
