China International Defense Electronic Technology Exhibition
The Third China International Defense Electronic Technology Exhibition will take place at the Beijing Exhibition Hall next April 1-4. It aims at strengthening international exchanges and the development of national defense technology, according to the latest Beijing Review.
The exhibition will be sponsored by the General Equipment Department of People's Liberation Army (PLA); the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense; and the Ministry of Information Industry. It will be hosted by China Electronic Import & Export Co., Ltd. and Beijing Xinlong Electronic New Tech Co., Ltd.
The exhibition has enjoyed great success since it was first held in 1998. The second one held in 2000 drew more than 50,000 people from 200 enterprises and companies from across China and other countries such as Israel, Germany, the United States, and Great Britain. Covering an area of more than 5��000 square meters, the exhibition displayed various new and exciting electronic products. Seminars on the high-tech industry were also held.
