Int'l Auto Expo Opens in Shenyang
The second China Shenyang International Auto Exposition opened in Shenyang in this capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province.
Some 189 auto makers from around the world are attending the exposition, sponsored by the China Automotive Industry Corporation.
The just-completed China Auto City has prepared an exhibition area of 22,000 square meters for 133 autos.
Big names, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Ford, have put their latest designs on display.
According to the organizing committee, a fair inviting bids for investment in Shenyang's auto industry will be held during the week-long exposition.
The first exposition was held in 1999.
