PD Publishes Compilation of Expositions of Marx, Engels and Lenin on Developing Marxism
People's Daily (PD) on August 13 published the Compilation of expositions of Marx, Engels and Lenin on Developing Marxism. The 10,000-plus-character compilation is divided into two parts: the first part is about classics writers' attitude and principle toward Marxism, the second part is about enriching and developing Marxism in practice.
People's Daily pointed out in the Editor's Notes that the expositions embody classics writers' scientific attitude toward Marxism and reflect Marxism's enrichment and development in practice. Reviewing these expositions helps us better keep our ideology and action identical with the spirit of Jiang Zemin's July 1 Speech, and enhance our consciousness and firmness in implementing the important thought contained in the "Three Represents'" requirements. It also helps us, in compliance with these requirements, uphold the ideological line of emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts, vigorously carry forward the spirit of doing practical work and daring to make innovations, and push forward, in a creative way, the various items of work of the Party and State.
