China Reports Increase of Exports in JulyChina's exports in July increased slightly to 22.89 billion US dollars from June's 22.08 billion US dollars, according to the latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs.Exports of traditional bulk commodities rebounded in July, but the increase was not stable, due to the impact of slowing economic growth worldwide, according to the administration. The total volume of imports and exports reached 43.84 billion US dollars in July, up 7 percentage points from the same period last year. While exports rose 6.6 percent to 22.89 billion US dollars, imports grew 7.5 percent to 20.95 billion US dollars, making a trade surplus of 1.94 billion US dollars for July. Statistics show that the total volume of China's foreign trade from January to July reached 284.84 billion US dollars, up 10.6 percent compared with the same period of last year. The exports and imports for the seven months totaled at 147.46 billion US dollars and 137.38 billion US dollars respectively. The accumulative total trade surplus from January to July reached 10.08 billion US dollars.
