Myanmar Beats Chinese Jiangsu in Volleyball Match

Myanmar men's team beat China's Jiangsu team again in their second encounter of the three-nation volleyball tournament at the National Indoor Stadium Sunday evening in Yangon.

Myanmar, with an average age of 24 and height of 1.84 meters, handed a 3-2 (25-21, 25-20, 29-31, 19-25, 15-8) defeat to the visitors, who have an average age of 22.4 and height of 1.95 meters.

Myanmar, preparing for the coming Southeast Asian Games, beat Jiangsu 3-0 in the first match last Thursday, with the set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-23, and South Korea's Kyonggi University downed Jiangsu 3-1 last Friday in 21-25, 31-29, 25-23, 25-22.

Myanmar thrashed the Kyonggi University 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25- 21) last Saturday.
