Digital Yellow River Project Launched
Sources with the Yellow River Water Conservancy Committee said that a digital Yellow River project has been officially launched.
The large-scale operating system will provide database, real- time transmission and processing of information, and support for scientific decision-making.
The system is divided into five sub-systems for the work of taming the Yellow River, including flood control command, water resource coordination, soil and water conservation supervision and control, office automation and a river website.
The committee said that the project will first be applied to making decisions on flood control such as forecasts of floods, and transmission of telecommunications and flood progressing models.
