Pakistan Ready to Discuss "Cross Border Terrorism" with India: Foreign Secretary

Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Inamul Haq has said that his country is ready to discuss "cross border terrorism" with India, according to a report by the News Network International (NNI) on Saturday.

According to the report, Inamul Haq said after talks with his Indian counterpart in Colombo, that the issue was discussed at Agra summit between Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister, Attal Behari Vajpayee, and it was decided that the issue of terrorism would be discussed at political level.

The Foreign Secretary said that although there was no joint declaration at the end of Agra summit, a structure was agreed.

"We can go ahead on this structure if the two countries so desire" he added.

"It was agreed that the process which was initiated at Agra by the two countries had to be carried ahead. The process of dialogue needs to be continued to resolve the issues including Jammu and Kashmir", he said.
