China Wins Gold Medals at Asian Chess Masters' Championship
China's chess players Zhao Guanfang and Nie Tiewen won the men's and women's titles respectively while another Chinese master took the men's silver medal at the Asian Chess Masters' Championship.
According to local reports, Le Thi Huong from Vietnan won the silver medal in men's competitions while the bronze medal of the women's event was taken by his compatriot Trenh A Sang.
Altogether 24 leading Asian chess masters, including six female, took part in the championship which had been held in
Vietnam
's southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province from August 3 to 8.
